Honda introduced the locally assembled HR-V for Rs.6 million. The VTi variant can be purchased for 5,999,000 Indian Rupees, while the VTi S variant can be bought for 6,199,000 Indian Rupees. Honda has just introduced the HR-V to the Pakistani market. All HR-V models come standard with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine that can generate 121 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque.
Usman Ansari, a specialist in the automotive industry, believes that the pricing of the Honda HRV is reasonable compared to that of the KIA Sportage, the Hyundai Tucson, and other crossover SUVs in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Ansari voiced his worry about the prospect of delayed delivery due to the import limitations imposed by the government and the worldwide scarcity of semiconductors.
According to what he claimed, “Other assemblers have also introduced automobiles, although the delivery period has extended to more than a year.”
Introducing a new crossover SUV coincides with a growing market share for such cars in Pakistan.
In Pakistan, the percentage of overall automobile sales made up of SUVs has increased from 5% to 20% over the previous three years, even though prices have increased. The KIA Sportage, the Hyundai Tucson, the MG Motors MG-HS, the DFSK Glory, the Proton X70, and the Oshan X7 are all included in this class.
