Tesla Owner Claims he was Locked out After his Battery Died and must Pay $26,000 for Battery Replacement

Tesla owner was locked out and must pay $26,000. He has revealed that after being locked out of his high-tech vehicle due to a battery failure, he was advised that a replacement battery would cost $26,000. The owner of Tesla released this information, and this information is very shocking for Tesla users.

Mario Zelaya, a resident of Canada, took to TikTok to tell what had transpired, referring to the Tesla vehicle he owned as a “piece of garbage” after the car automatically locked itself when the battery died. Zelaya’s vehicle cost $140,000.

The owner expressed his point of view by stating that he had decided to sell the automobile after experiencing a battery failure because he was not prepared to spend a substantial sum on repairing a battery. He said this since replacing a battery costs a lot of money. In addition, he made the statement, “I’ll never purchase another Tesla, which is a roundabout way of saying you should steer clear of Tesla.” The automobiles are terrible, the manufacture is awful, and to make matters even worse, the firm has only been around for ten years.

Therefore, it was a horrible scenario for him since the ownership documents were inside the vehicle, and the car was entirely locked after the battery failure. He could not sell the automobile due to both of these circumstances.

He said he had talked with another Tesla owner who reported having the same issues with the vehicle battery. He also claimed that he had spoken with this owner. According to Zelaya, while the owner’s Tesla vehicle was serviced, the company canceled the owner’s Uber credits. He said, “Tesla is attempting to brush the issue under the carpet.” They are refusing to provide any explanation as to why their battery died.

Following the disclosure of the situation, a few individuals recommended that Zelaya deconstruct the automobile manually to get entrance; however, he declined this suggestion, stating that he “did not have time for it.” Fortunately, he got a duplicate of the papers from another source for the low price of $30.

The angry driver said that even though he bought the vehicle in 2013, its model and other versions from 2014 have a defect that enables fluid to pour over their batteries, potentially costing owners several thousand dollars.

In addition, he said, “I got Transport Canada involved, and they performed an investigation on the automobile.” Not only have they investigated this vehicle, but they also plan to do another investigation that Tesla is unaware of until it is completed. He said, “Tesla is attempting to brush the issue under the carpet.” They are refusing to provide any explanation as to why their battery died.

In addition, he said that Tesla services do not consist of a battery check and are exacerbating the already present problem in the models. Thankfully, Zelaya was able to get rid of the unwanted automobile, and he disclosed in another TikTok video that “the new owner wants to break down the vehicle to charge it.”

However, Zelaya is not the first person to criticize the vehicles. According to Fox News, in August, Norwegian car owners desperately tried to draw Elon Musk’s attention to issues associated with their vehicles by participating in a hunger strike. The strike was organized to draw Musk’s attention to the problems related to their cars.
