Facebook Paid $725 Million to Users as a Privacy Lawsuit Settlement; Here’s How to Claim Yours.

In a recent landmark deal, Facebook paid $725 million to users as a privacy lawsuit settlement. In the United States, Facebook users who maintained an active profile between May 2007 and December 2022 will share in this massive amount. This court battle’s conclusion shows the corporation is serious about resolving customers’ legitimate privacy concerns and providing a safer service going ahead.

Users may file a claim for a payout from the settlement until August 25. Payments will be made based on the number of valid claims submitted and each user’s average time on Facebook.

Users who believe they have a claim may submit their information at Facebookuserprivacysettlement.com. They must show proof of U.S. residence and Facebook usage during the relevant period.
