The launch is part of a “major strategic plan” to execute the intelligent Haramain project, according to Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Saudi, Chief of the Presidency, which is responsible for all managemental activities of the Two Holy Masjids. This is in line with the presidency’s Vision 2030 and Strategy 2024 plan to strengthen tourist services. Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Saudi is also in charge of administrating the Two Holy Masjids. Vision 2030 is a plan executed over the following five years that defines the kingdom’s economy, people, and infrastructure goals.
The recitations, lectures, and azan robot convey to guests the words of the imams and muezzins who serve in the Two Holy Mosques. This objective may be divided into three subgoals. Other intelligent robots developed by Al-Saudis include a disinfection and sterilization robot, a fatwa robot, an intelligent disinfectant robot, and a robot mainly built to clean the surface of the Holy Kaaba.
